There are a lot of reasons not to live in NYC. Non NYC friends cry for my soul when I tell them what my rent is, and my son’s bedroom is actually a closet. (Our *only* closet.)
However, one of my favorite kinds of family shoots is a family shoot with tourists. I love showing visitors beautiful little pockets of the city, and it’s always a great reminder of why I live here.
This family was visiting from Southern California, and their goal was to see some northeast fall foliage alongside classic Central Park settings.
I knew Bethesda Fountain and the Bow Bridge would be the perfect spot because of the beautiful arches and staircase as well as the foliage behind the bridge.
They were great sports about joining me a teeeeeny but earlier than they’d planned in order to capture a crowd-less setting… which is totally worth it in this spot!
Big thanks to this awesome family - come back and visit NYC again soon! :)
