Kristen and Justin are a military couple who got married in a courthouse ceremony and are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year… so their story was familiar to us! For their anniversary, they wanted photos that looked a little more “wedding” than their courthouse ceremony, and a wintery Acadia backdrop was just the setting.
Kristen was such a good sport you’d never know it was 20 degrees…
The tree-lined carriage roads by Jordan Pond make for some beautiful framing.
Being able to step out onto the frozen Jordan Pond with that mountain backdrop is one of the many reasons I love shooting here in the winter.
In the summer this lawn will be bustling with tourists, but in the winter we have it all to ourselves.
